Is hand sanitizer production ending?

Yes, the production of hand sanitizer is ending at Nebraska Innovation Campus. The last day for orders and pickup will be July 31, 2020.

Will my order be ready at my requested pick up time?

Yes, we are prepared to fill orders Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. If your order cannot be prepared in time, we will contact you in advance via the contact information you provided on the online request form.

Do I really need to request sanitizer or can I just pick some up?

All requests must be made via our webform at handsanitzer.unl.edu.  No product can be distributed without an advance request.

I am interested in buying hand sanitizer. Do you sell it?

We do not sell hand sanitizer. We are providing hand sanitizer free of charge to medical facilities and businesses in the state of Nebraska as a public service during the COVID-19 pandemic.  We welcome financial and material donations to support this program via our website.

Can I receive more than one gallon?

We are restricting requests for businesses to a one-time, one gallon per company to provide assistance until they can make long-term arrangements. Our highest priority is to serve medical providers, first-responders and community organizations with free hand sanitizer.

May departments and units at UNL request sanitizer for the workplace?

Yes, University departments may request sanitizer using UNL MarketPlace. In addition, the University will be providing and supplying sanitizer stations in common areas on campus.

I would like to re-bottle my sanitizer in smaller containers to use around the workplace. Are there labels for smaller containers?

Yes, you can download self-print templates here.
